CUSTOM SHADE SAILS

BEFORE ORDERING A CUSTOM SHADE SAIL, PLEASE READ THE FOLLOWING INFORMATION CAREFULLY.

This way we can ensure that all the details are thought out and all dimensions of the custom shade sail are correct.

MEASUREMENTS

All measurements should be taken from fixing point to fixing point as shown in the picture.

All dimensions MUST be in millimetres. (1 metre=1000 mm), whole numbers only.

We can only calculate your quotation if you provide ALL the measurements as required.

ACTUAL OR ALLOWANCE?

Are the dimensions you have selected the actual size you require or would you like us to make allowances for fittings?

– ACTUAL means you will receive your sail in the dimensions entered on this page.

– ALLOWANCE means that we will make your sail smaller to accommodate the size of the tensioning fittings.

ALLOWANCE NOTE: For the fittings we reduce the size by 320mm at each point through the direction of tension.

FITTINGS

We supply one turnbuckle and one D shackle for each connecting point. According to the size of the sail we supply 8mm fittings or 10mm. All fittings are 316 Marine Grade Stainless Steel.

The combined length of the extended turnbuckle and the D shackle is 32cm (320mm).

PALM STRIPS

We supply heavy duty 1m, 2m, 3m and 4m palm strips, if you would like to install your shade sail to a tree.

MATERIALS AND COLOURS

Before you make your custom shade sail order, take your time to decide on the material and colour of your shade sail. All our custom made shade sails are made of high quality, heavy duty knitted Gale Pacific Synthesis shade cloth and the colour selection is modern and vibrant.
